CONCERNING THE MONUMENT TO ALFONSO IX (A Coruña)
... A little history:
- In 2007, members of the jury convened decided that "the rules governing the contest, either lack of symbolism, or by not complying with the environment, "discarding all proposals declaring null and void.
- Mayor also confirmed in 2007 that "the municipal government will now seek a renowned artist to commission the completion of the monument"
- Longueira Silvia Castro, social services Councillor and then President of the Jury Memorial Award of Alfonso IX, a proposal from Isaac Diaz Pardo on 17 December 2007 was named Vice President of the Fundación Luis Seoane, four days before the mayor announced that Isaac Diaz Pardo would make the monument to Alfonso IX.
- The monument commissioned finger is "designed by the architects Juan Creus and Covadonga Carrasco from an intellectual design Galician Isaac Díaz Pardo."
- Covadonga Carrasco Juan Creus and the authors of "building that houses the Luis Seoane Foundation in A Coruña"
